Airwave continues his reign as progressive master to deliver another absolute stomper entitled Carre. His last outing with DJ Fire, Without Roots, is still enjoying high positions on various charts and playlists. DJing is still a big focus for Airwave and he is enjoying gigs and some very cool and exotic places so be sure to catch a glimpse if he comes your way. Backed up with two stunning remixes we are sure there is something for everyone here.
The Original Mix gives off a real deep progressive vibe which is evident right from the off as pounding kicks are joined by distant percussions and a deep droning bass sound. Various layers start to build and bring a steady flowing rhythm within a super tight arrangement.
In perfect Airwave style you start to feel the intensity as pads begin to rise. Bright melodic flavours offer stark contrasts that work so well with darker elements. We end up locked in a beautifully constructed progressive groove and can only be described a simply sublime, top notch yet again and a definite must have.
Hailing out of Poland we have Monojoke up first on remix duty. This guy is a very much in demand artist due to his diverse range of skills which he utilises to deliver top quality every time he touches his own productions or remixes. He has seen a couple of remixes appear on our compilations in the past and we are delighted to see him grace these shores once more. The remix intros with a very cool display of percussive patterns as well as an ebbing and flowing synth. A large bass pluck is backed with a very cool rising arp that leads us up to the main track where a smooth punchy kick drives the groove. The main bass takes the track up a gear as it relentlessly delivers its powerful progressive force. On the break the synths take over delivering cool melodic phrases that match perfectly with that deep sub bass effect. A fantastic journey that you will not want to miss.
Rise and Fall delivers another top notch remix which we have come to expect given his recent efforts. A firm favourite among many we last saw him with his wonderful Seize The Day back in early summer this year. Here the remix intros with a nice punchy kick with subtle percussions littering the background alongside a sweeping pad. A warm bass pluck sets the tone and is soon joined by a much deeper bass which provides a solid platform. Short synth riffs are accompanied by cool FX as a hypnotic arp begins to rise. The break reveals a very cool display of pads that lead us back into the main groove for the remainder of this epic slice of prog, superb stuff.

First up is Under The Sun with a superb remix from Inkfish. Deep and dark tones are felt from the outset as a pounding kick sits over a distant pad. Cool vocal samples crop up throughout adding smooth textures to the groove. Laidback rhythms come off the subtle percussion section and pave the way for the bass which is the star of the show. That bassline just pulses through the track beautifully and keeps the deeper progressive elements on point. The synth work is minimal as it comes through with a raw edge.Top notch cut from Inkfish that will warm up a lot of sets.
The masterful Airwave provides the next remix on One More Night and right from the off you will realise you’re in for a treat as the wonderfully crafted intro lulls you into its grasp. Subtle synths ebb and flow as a bubbling bass fades up bringing with it a fantastic sense of anticipation. A huge kick unleashes a superb breakbeat pattern which takes us to the first break where a stunning guitar strums out a beautiful melodic sequence with the help of some bright synths before getting back into full on mode. A truly epic and hypnotic experience you will not want to miss.
Up next we have the Manu Riga Morning After Remix of Midnight Til Morning which intros with a nice punchy kick that is soon joined by a smooth deep and warming pad. Subtle melodies flow out of the pads alongside some very cool FX. The track does a great job of drawing you in and gripping your mind body and soul for the duration. The bass will move you as it pounds out a superb progressive groove while contrasting bright pads float above. A short break reveals a beautiful piano sequence and a fantastic vocal that takes the track to a new level. Simply wonderful stuff from Manu which is most definitely not to be missed.
Sa.Du is up next with his remix of Morphine. The intro boasts a tight drum arrangement filled with punchy kicks and a round of rhythmic percussions that will have you on the dancefloor in no time. A deep throbbing bass rears its head to get the groove really flowing and commands right through the track. Cool clangy FX come through adding a tech flavour to the sound while smooth arps and synths retain the progressive edge. Overall the track dishes out a driving groove that will be a most welcome addition in any set.
Lastly on this package we have 21street with a remix of La Polaris. Pounding kicks get the track moving to the backdrop of cool percussion patterns as a female vocal comes in every other bar with a sharp delivery. The track breaks briefly before slamming back with a monster bass that just rolls right through the sound brilliantly and setting the progressive house groove on course. Contrasting melodic sequences are born out of a sweet and bright synth as the darker elements continue to flow. A very cool and dynamic slice that will be a feature among many for sure.
