Sagittaire - One Twenty Five / Omnibus

Alongside with the Release of Airwave - The Wrath Of Tambora, I’m proud to present you another single of mine under a different name. Sagittaire - One Twenty Five and Omnibus. There’s a story behind these tracks. You have to know that both were made only with synthesizers, no samples, and built-in effects.

Here’s what our contributor Brian wrote about it:

“Sagittaire is back with a quite stunning piece of progressive house bordering on trance. If you didn’t know this project is from the mind of none other than EDM genius himself, Laurent Veronnez aka Airwave. There is no limit to the talent from this guy as he proves yet again that music comes from deep within. Sagittaire’s last release came way back in 2007 with the special edition seven part “60”, now revamped and still keeping to the true nature of this guise we are delighted to have the two track release “One Twenty Five” The title track intros with strange, weird and wonderful melancholic melodies which soon get a lush makeover when super warm pads fade through. The classic styled bassline sneaks in with a rolling effect and the track lifts off with a tight kick and percussion combi. THE big focus here is the amazing slightly gated synths with teasing underlying melodies that you want to burst out and take over completely. A masterclass in sound design here and sure to be a very popular choice among many. “Omnibus” is a much more upbeat track with its bouncy effect and beautifully crafted melodies. Nice subtle intro with muted kicks that soon transforms into a full on shower of beats washed in bubbles of bliss. Very simple approach with a huge impact, lots of different sounds coming together nicely, offset bass, cool percussions, an amazing full kick and of course magical melodies. Refreshing sounds indeed, perfect for lazy days and upcoming summer evenings.”

JOOF’s Global Trance Grooves Anniversary on April 30th 2013

You can see the flyer, I’m doing another guest mix this month!! This time with my friend John 00 Fleming. He asked me a very special breaks set, so I sent him a selection of the ultimate breaks classics. This is more of a radio set, but you will for sure LOVE it! It’s gorgeous from start to end.

Vuduvibez, A New Party Concept, supported and endorsed by Airwave

Good Morning All!

You got it. I’m back at work in Belgium, but this time I have decided to go completely from scratch/zero/nada. I joined a bunch of Talented DJ’s in my home country and from now we’ll throw Monthly parties at a famous Belgian club called Arenchi. Beyond that, we’re already training and exchanging tunes so on short term we’ll be playing as a DJ QUARTET.

This Concept is the first one in a series of others we’ll be throwing, see it as a side-activity of Airwave as a DJ.  This is the first one, and we already have plans for the next editions, inviting top Acts from Belgium but also Elswhere!

So, See you there on April 12th, at Arenchi, Roosdaal for the First Vuduvibez Event. And then from May, Every First Friday of Each Month!
