Preparing A New Live Set from Scratch…
Aloha,
Time has come folks. I’ll keep it short and positive as usual, but Time has definitely Come. For Years I’ve been struggling to get out of the dj/producer box. This term today is so reductive to me, yet I assure that I love playing as a dj, sharing my passion for good music. Those who are close enough know that I first started as an electronic musician, which I still am. Probably not the best keyboardist, far from it even, but with that little special bit that is worth 15 years of creations and releases. My June 2nd Gig with Plasma Future in Manchester will mark that period like a tattoo on my skin for a good while, playing only my music and a few of my favorite tracks. I will be happy to see you there if you can make it. That way I can finally start on the foundations of who I am. Yep, my friends, I don’t forget what I’ve done in the past, and today, finally I can accept it and even be proud of it. Thanks… to all of you, for your patience, your kind words, for your signs of gratitude. I’m really lucky and proud to have you here today.

Review: 'Cathedrals Of Hope' E.P. by Airwave | Electronic Dance Zine
”- By Andrew Gough -
Ready for some new tracks to add to your progressive trance playlists? On 24 April, 2012, Airwave released ‘Cathedrals Of Hope’, an E.P. comprised of three new tracks.
The first track, the release’s namesake, does not disappoint. Its light-and-airy synths with an ominous faint chorus holding up the bottom give the track incredible depth. Then again, that is something that has come to be expected from this outstanding producer.
‘Reset’, on the other hand, ushers in more techno roots than the other two tracks. This tune starts with an excellent use of vocals that transitions surprisingly well between ‘Cathedrals Of Hope’ and ‘Atlas Winds’. Following the breakdown, however, the listener can hear the progressive sound that has become one of Airwave’s signatures.
The third track, ‘Atlas Winds’, takes queues from a mixture of a film score and the flavour Airwaves masterfully leaves in every track, making it the most capturing of the three. The suspense and then movement Airwave delivers to the listener is nothing short of a journey in itself.
Overall, this release is an indication that Airwave has continued to grow as an artist, giving even more emphasis on depth. This makes the E.P. definitely worthy of a high ranking.
Rating: 8/10”

Flux BPM Online: REVIEW: Airwave - Cathedrals Of Hope out on L*C*D* Recordings
Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional trance producer and dj from Belgium, the inspiring Laurent Veronezz strikes back with an EP that will make you fall in love with quality trance once again. Forget the cheesy stuff with easy memorable melodies and uplifting synths cause Laurent is a man with a mission and as always he is going to take us on the deeper sides and shades of trance to introduce us to his Cathedrals of Hope. Within the dark and gloomy edge we leave in, it seems that music has the key to show us the light through the dark and long corridors of our minds. Cathedrals of Hope is an atmospheric 130 BPM progressive trancer with tribal trance beats, deep basslines, melancholic melodies, great drums and percussion, mysterious harp riffs and Oliver Lieb like synthy melody in the breakdown that lead the track in its main part that works as an uplifting climax. The magic continuous on Reset. A marvellous deep trance piece with great percussion, epic melodies, ethnic style vocals, acid layers and imposing atmosphere. When this will be playing in your favourite trance club expect the physical eyes to be closed and the eyes of the soul wide open experiencing emotions, feelings and mental images that only inspiring cinematic trance can reveal to its listener. The superb package includes the album mix of Atlas Winds. 11 minutes of deep epic progressive trance with powerful drums, psy trance influences and magical exotic middle east melodic themes and dreamy vocals performed by Francesca Genco. This is what I call Trance that stays close to the roots of the genre. Love IT!
Thanks Dimitri, and my biggest hugs to all my friends in Greece, you really mean a lot to me!

It’s raining positive reviews on Cathedrals Of Hope

First Promo Feedbacks are in. Thanks for the reviews guys!
“Laurent continues to furnish us with pure quality sounds. Cathedrals is another fine example of his talent, huge epic sounds and bassline that rocks, mesmerizing! Now we have Reset which is a definite throwback to Laurents earlier influence, what a freaking tune man, the way the vocal samples are used really tie the whole track into a trance monster with those big percs and awesome melody. Loving the vocal addition on Atlas, really give it a whole new dimension, very ethnic in flavour and still a huge huge tune!!!”
